This is something ive been looking at for a while. I looked at websites to find the cheapest deals and everything. I asked my dad that i had a product in mind to increase my digital art skills and he simply said "okay ill buy it". I was surprised at how quick he agreed on buying it because he didnt even know what it was or what it looked like or anything. I told him it was kind of expensive. Well. I just found out he had something else in mind. He was going to buy me something that would of been for his own good as well. He wanted to buy this product where it was like an iPad but came with a pen and blahhhhhhhhh. The thing he wants is like 400$ and The Bamboo i want is only like 140$ . The problem is... My mom and sister think everything is useless and they will also say no . They will tell me to draw on paper. But thats not da point. I wanna draw digitally for many reason.. they cant understand because they also find art useless. How do i convince them?!

Bamboo graphic tablets are really cool for begineers, i think there only worth getting if you got some decent software to draw with like photoshop etc etc, altho, there just great to have cause they allow you to use different preasure and pen modes, for example if you wanted to use Airbrushing, pencil, pen, paint, marker all at one button stroke, rather then buying them in real life which getting a graphic tablet will work out in the long run. i think if your looking to go more proffesional looking art then go for it, such as if your in high school or college / uni its defo worth having. most art work done proffesionally are ditigal so thats a good sign.

i think convincing your dad to buy you one if you got a good use for it, show your dad some examples of peoples work with ditigal sketching, maybe influence him ull like to draw like that, also tell him that art isnt pointless, its a form of expression and hobbie and that you like doing it. also Ipads have nice sketching software which might be good to use also, altho ill pref a tablet. i think uv got to beg a little lol, and tell him ull make it up to him or smfk lol thats how i got things from my parents
